Arrival & Check-In Arrival & Check-In Your smartphone is your guide
We welcome you in person!
Every player creates an account on their own smartphone.
You can exclude games you don't want to play.
One smartphone can be used by up to 3 players.
Splitting into Teams Splitting into Teams You never play against strangers
You split yourselves into teams of equal size. All teams consist only of members of your own group. You never play against strangers.
In our experience, small teams are the most fun. Or you play everyone against everyone right away.
Tournament Start & Duels Tournament Start & Duels Every round: new game, new opponent
We assign each player a game and an opponent. You then play a gripping duel against each other. All results are recorded automatically.
Don't like a game? You can swap it any time before it starts.
After the duel, you switch game and opponent.
Live Rankings Live Rankings Always live on your smartphone
Throughout the tournament, you see the current rankings of all teams and games.
Tournament End & Winner Tournament End & Winner The most duel wins take it
At the end, the team with the most duel wins takes it. If there is a tie, the team that did better in the games wins.

Varied games (skill, speed, knowledge) with different levels of difficulty. Top implementation, very nice support. Great location as a team event.

We went there as a team event. Everyone was thrilled with the games and the host. The games are very different, so there's something for everyone. Navigating by app is great, and that way you're always in suspense about who you're playing next and what the next game is!

We went there as a team for the first time and I'm thrilled! Why? Quick responses to enquiries, easy registration on site, nice staff who answer all questions and help, open outside business hours on request, power bank incl. charging cable on site, free soft drinks and snacks, MEGA great games for all age groups! We all had a lot of fun and I can highly recommend it for teams in terms of team cohesion.

I was sceptical at first. It read like typical team building stuff. But I was completely wrong! The games and the concept were incredibly funny. The random principle breaks up the usual cliques and you have an incredible amount of fun with people you don't otherwise have much contact with.

We had a great team event with just under 20 people. The randomly selected duels are a good way to get talking to people you may not have had much contact with before. A really great thing as a team building event!

Young or old, man or woman, everyone has the same fun here and, above all, the same chances in every game. That creates fun as a team, and everyone enjoys themselves. The location has absolute repeat factor!

Why Gamer fits your team

For everyone on the team, no experience needed

The 20 games mix action, skill and knowledge, and every round rewards a different strength: sometimes the fastest wins, sometimes the one with the best memory, sometimes the one with the steadiest hands. All games are explained in seconds and accessible to everyone: young or old, loud or quiet, sporty or not.

The match plan mixes your team

And who plays whom? The match plan handles that, fresh every round: new game, new opponent from your own group. Round three then suddenly means: you versus the colleague from purchasing you have exchanged ten sentences with in four years. That is how the usual cliques break up, as a side effect. And because the live ranking ties all duels into one tournament, it becomes a shared experience with stories that belong to everyone afterwards.

Nobody embarrasses themselves

And whoever loses a duel? Plays the next one shortly after, in another discipline. Any round can have a different winner. The duels are short, everyone plays at the same time: nobody stands on a stage, nobody watches.

Book without risk, organisation on us

And the organisation? Entirely on us: booked online in 2 minutes, fixed packages with drinks included, transparent prices without surprises, invoice for your company. Anyone who needs figures for the budget first simply requests a non-binding offer. Over 10,000 company events and 18,000+ reviews suggest that it works.

Team building in Nuremberg: Gamer vs. the alternatives

Escape room, bowling, cooking class: all done already? Here's how Gamer in Nuremberg compares.

Escape Room
Only 6-8 people per room: larger teams play separately. One or two people solve the puzzles, the rest watch.
Your whole team plays at the same time in the same tournament. Different game types make sure different strengths count, not just puzzle pros.
Bowling
Monotonous after a few rounds, lots of waiting, and the group spreads out across the lanes.
20 changing games, everyone plays at the same time. Nobody waits, nobody sits on the sidelines.
Cooking Class
Expensive for large groups, not everyone likes cooking, and the interaction stays at your own station.
Everyone plays together, the game mix demands different strengths. Real interaction instead of huddling in cliques.
Team Building Workshop
Often cringe: trust falls, sharing circle, 'tell us your biggest fear'. A lot of work to organise.
No exercises, no sharing circle. You simply play. Coming together happens by itself.
Go-Karting
Loud, expensive, not for everyone: fitness and appetite for risk decide.
Indoor, weatherproof, for every level. Skill and knowledge count just as much as speed.
Restaurant / Bar
Nice, but the group splits into cliques and there is no shared experience. Excludes non-drinkers.
Everyone joins in together: 90 minutes of real interaction instead of small talk in cliques.

Common questions about team building in Nuremberg

What is Gamer and how does it work?

Gamer is your own Gameshow: 20 games of action, skill and knowledge, played in 1-on-1 duels. The match plan puts together new duels every round: new game, new opponent from your own group. The live ranking ties everything into one tournament. No experience needed. 4.9 stars from 18,000+ reviews.

Is this embarrassing team building?

No. No sharing circle, no trust falls, no icebreaker games. You play short duels, everyone at the same time. Nobody stands on a stage, nobody watches. And losing costs nothing: the next round comes straight away, in another discipline.

What does team building at Gamer in Nuremberg cost?

For team events there are fixed packages from €27 per person: all games and soft drinks included, transparent prices with no hidden costs. You receive a proper invoice for your company.

Does it also work for mixed teams?

That is exactly what it is made for. Every round rewards a different strength: sometimes the fastest wins, sometimes the one with the best memory. Introvert or extrovert, 25 or 55: any round can have a different winner.

How many people is Gamer suitable for?

From small departments to the whole company: in Nuremberg, up to 120 people play at the same time, just your team, no strangers. For larger groups we organise several sessions on the same day.

Is Gamer indoor or outdoor?

Completely indoor and independent of the weather, the perfect alternative to outdoor events in rain, cold or heat. 90 minutes of action and fun, without the stress of cancelled plans.

How do I plan team building at Gamer?

Booked online in 2 minutes: choose the location in Nuremberg, enter your preferred date and number of people. You get fixed packages, transparent prices and an invoice for your company. If you are still unsure, request a non-binding offer first. Either way, the organisation is entirely on us.

What makes Gamer better than classic team building?

With classic team building, half the people wait, or the group splits into cliques. At Gamer everyone plays at the same time, and the match plan keeps mixing the team. In the end you have a shared experience with stories that belong to everyone afterwards.

Is Gamer also suitable for people who aren't really into gaming?

Absolutely. All games are explained in seconds, and nobody needs any experience. It's not about video games: the games mix action, skill and knowledge, and sometimes the fastest wins, sometimes the one with the best memory.

What does the team really get out of it?

The duels put together by the match plan break up well-worn cliques: you play and talk with colleagues you otherwise barely deal with, and see a side of them that never shows in everyday work. That is exactly what teams describe in their reviews.
