Christmas party season from 15 November to 23 December
We host a large number of Christmas parties between 15 November and 23 December.

In order to plan the Christmas parties ideally, we are closing bookings for other groups during the week during this period. Weekends are not affected and can be booked as normal.

The remaining places will then be released for booking for all groups on the Friday of the previous week.

It is best to put yourself on the waiting list so that you are the first to know when places become available.

If you really want to secure a weekday date, you can also book a Christmas party package as a private group. It costs a little more, but can be booked right away.

If the whole month is not yet bookable, then we have not yet opened the booking for this time.

Just write us a message or check back in a few weeks.

If your desired date is booked, you can put your name on the waiting list. You will find the link to the waiting list below the possible start times in the booking calendar.

To add your name to the waiting list, all you have to do is enter the period in which you can start.

If you are on the waiting list, we will send you an email as soon as a start time becomes available within your time period (e.g. because another group has canceled).

For groups of 7 players or more, we also offer appointments outside our regular opening hours, at some venues on our closed days too. The booking calendar shows you these times automatically once you enter the number of people.

If you book an appointment outside our regular opening hours, your visit will be subject to a minimum price of 180 €.

If you later reduce the price to below 180 € by changing the number of players, for example, you will still pay 180 € in the end.

Please book these appointments as early as possible: we schedule an extra member of staff to welcome you.

If another visit outside our opening hours is already booked and paid for at that time, the calendar shows that time to smaller groups as well, without a minimum price. You then pay the regular price per person.

On public holidays many venues open as they would on a Sunday. You can see whether your venue is open on a public holiday in the booking calendar.

We also recommend that you book an appointment online in advance for a spontaneous visit. This is also possible at short notice.

That way you can be sure that we really do have space for you and that we are open.

We currently have a maximum capacity of 64 players at any one time. If you are only slightly above that, you can still play together. The waiting times between duels get a little longer, but you have the venue to yourselves.

Groups above our capacity can be split across several start times. You then play one after the other, for example one half at 2:00 pm and the other at 4:30 pm. Please note that we do not have separate waiting areas — the waiting group cannot join as spectators in the meantime.

You can also book the venue exclusively and have it to yourselves. All 64 places are booked for that. An exclusive booking requires an immediate deposit and cannot be cancelled afterwards.

If you are a larger group, just write us a message and we will see if there is a solution to accommodate you.

All bookings with Gamer are initially reservations. This means that you can cancel them at any time.

Please note, however, that we also offer ticket types where you have to pay before your visit or where you can no longer cancel free of charge after a certain day.

You can find all information about the tickets in the ticket selection in the booking process.

The DISCOUNT ticket is cheaper, must be paid in advance and can only be booked until a few days before the visit. At short notice only the FLEX ticket is available, which you can cancel free of charge for longer. The ticket selection shows from when only FLEX is available.

As a private customer, you can pay online by debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard), PayPal or bank transfer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay on site by cash or card.

As a corporate customer, you can pay online by bank transfer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay on site with cash or card.

As a corporate customer, payment by invoice after the visit is also possible. For this we need a declaration of assumption of costs. Please fill it out and send it by email to berlin@gamer.now. Payment by invoice is only available to companies, schools and clubs. We register it as soon as we have the signed declaration of assumption of costs, so please send it before the visit if possible. An informal declaration is fine too; it must state the total amount and the booking code. You can find the form here:

A visit can also be paid through multiple payments.

Bank transfer
We register bank transfers manually, which takes 1 to 2 working days. A transfer made at the weekend is therefore only in the system on Tuesday, for example. You receive an email as soon as the payment has arrived. Always state your booking code in the payment reference, otherwise we cannot match the payment.

If your visit is very close, send us proof of payment. We then register the payment provisionally.

Payment status
You can see the status of your payments at any time via the link in the booking email.

The prices for your visit depend on various parameters:

1) We adapt the processes and content of our experience to the target group. That’s why we have different prices for friends, families, team events, students or JGAs.

2) Some types of ticket allow you to cancel at any time free of charge and only pay on site — but booking is always done online. These tickets cost a little more.

3) We adapt our prices to demand. If you come at our peak times (e.g. on Saturday afternoon) you pay a little more, at off-peak times (e.g. during the week) it is cheaper. It is also worth booking early.

So there is no one price at Gamer. Just click through the booking process to find out how much your visit will cost.

Create non-binding offer

The offer holds your start time for as long as it is valid. Once it expires, the time is released for everyone again.

In the offer email you will find, next to “Accept offer”, the links “Adjust offer” (number of players, date, time; you receive an updated PDF right away) and “Decline offer”.

There is a separate package for every occasion: Friends & Family, Team event, Pupils, Kids’ birthday party and Bachelor/bachelorette party. The games and duels are identical in all packages.

The difference between the bachelor/bachelorette party packages and the regular Gamer packages (e.g. JGA XXL and GAMER XXL): with the bachelor/bachelorette party packages you may bring your own alcoholic drinks in moderation. There are no further extras for these parties.

A bachelor/bachelorette party must always be booked as such, even if team event times are still available. Kids’ birthday parties, school classes and bachelor/bachelorette parties are not offered times at which another of these groups or a team event is already in the venue. Team events see such times in the booking calendar with a warning triangle: a click shows which group plays alongside them, and whoever is fine with that books the time as usual. That consent is then repeated in the booking confirmation.

We do not offer special preparation, decoration, surprises or additional services for bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays or other occasions, not even for an extra charge.

You can manage your booking yourself at any time using the link in the confirmation email – change the number of players or reschedule the date and time.

The email also shows the deadline until which changes are free of charge.

Increasing the number of players is always possible, as long as there are still free spots in the chosen time slot, even on the day of the visit at the venue. Added players pay the regular price.

The difference must be paid before the visit, otherwise the visit cannot start at the venue. After the change you automatically receive a new confirmation with the new amount and the payment link.

Cancellation
You can cancel your visit yourself at any time. Simply use the link in the email confirming your booking.

The email will also tell you whether your cancellation is still free of charge. A visit that has not been paid for yet can always be cancelled free of charge. If you do not pay for a visit by the payment deadline, we cancel it automatically.

Rebooking
If you move your visit, the prices of the new date apply. They can be higher or lower, because our prices depend on the day of the week, the time and demand.

Refunds
If you cancel a visit you have already paid for, you receive a voucher for the amount paid, valid at all venues. If you would prefer the money back instead, let us know.

If you reduce the number of players, we do not refund the difference automatically. Get in touch with us after the visit for that.

If you have paid too much for no reason, simply send us a message to berlin@gamer.now and we will refund your money.

Please note that we always refund AFTER the visit so that we do not have to refund multiple times in case of doubt.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. If you paid by bank transfer, please provide us with your account details so that we can transfer the money directly to you.

Discounts for large groups
We do not offer a separate volume discount for large groups. From 7 players you can, however, also book slots outside our regular opening hours.

Discounts for students & seniors
We currently do not offer discounts for students and senior citizens.

Discounts for teachers & chaperones
Teachers who play pay the same price as the pupils. Anyone who only accompanies the group and watches pays nothing.

Discounts for children
The child discount applies only to selected family packages and is limited to a maximum of 5 children per booking; at least one player must be booked at the full price. The child discount does not apply to the children’s birthday package. Instead, the birthday child plays for free from 7 booked participants onwards.

Free birthday child
Simply book the birthday child as a regular participant — they count towards the number of participants. From 7 booked participants onwards, the booking automatically deducts the price for one participant. You do not need to tell us anything, and nothing has to be refunded to you afterwards.

An example: with 7 children including the birthday child, you book 7 participants and pay for one less.

If two birthday children celebrate together, still only one child is free. You can also see the required number of participants in the booking process at the ticket selection.

Birthday discount
For adult birthdays there is no separate discount and no free birthday guest. A free birthday child is only available with the children’s birthday package.

My voucher does not work
All vouchers must still be valid and have not yet been used. In addition, there are some vouchers with additional conditions on the number of players in the visit or the branch of the visit.

Use multiple vouchers
You can also add several vouchers one after the other when booking. Please note, referral vouchers cannot be combined with other vouchers.

Use vouchers pro rata
Vouchers cannot be used pro rata. However, we can split your voucher for you: redeem the voucher on the booking you want and then send us a message. We issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount.

Lost voucher
If a voucher has been lost or stolen, send us a message with the purchase details. We block the old code and issue a new one.

Purchased vouchers are emailed to you right after the purchase. They are valid for 3 years at all venues.

Voucher card by post
You can also have a voucher card sent to you by post free of charge; the details are in the email after the purchase. The card arrives as a letter within 3 to 5 working days, without tracking. It is blank so that you can write a personal message with the voucher code yourself. Collection at the venue is not possible.

Of course, we will issue you with an invoice. You can create this yourself. To do so, visit the page for editing your visit. You will find the link in the booking email.

Are you a corporate customer? Then we will automatically send you an email for invoice creation after your visit.

To create an invoice, you must enter the invoice recipient’s name and address. Enter a VAT ID as a separate line below the address.

Order number, cost centre & your own references
On the same form you will find the field “Your Reference (optional)”. Whatever you enter there appears on the invoice — for example an order number, a cost centre or a project name. On the invoice it is shown as “External Reference”. You can put several details into this one field. There is no need to send us a message for this.

You can send the finished invoice directly to any address — for example to your accounting department. Just click “Send per email” on the invoice and enter the desired recipient address. The invoice is then sent there as a PDF attachment. You can also send the invoice multiple times to different recipients — for example once to yourself and once to your accounting department.

Payment term
With a declaration of assumption of costs, the amount is due immediately after the visit. Without one, the payment deadline of your visit applies, i.e. before the visit.

What is possible and what is not
Invoices are issued as PDF. We issue one overall invoice per visit; partial invoices are not possible. You can add the price per person and the number of people as a note in the “Your Reference” field. We cannot issue receipts. We do not register on supplier or invoicing portals; please sort that out internally.

Changing an invoice
If the invoice has already been created, you can edit the invoice recipient and create the invoice again.

Cancellation invoice
In case of a cancellation or price change, we issue a cancellation invoice on request. We do not issue credit notes.

Immediately after your booking, we will send you an email with the code for your visit. You will need this code to become part of the visit after registering.

As soon as you are part of the visit, you will also have access to a link & QR code with which other players can register directly without a code.

The person who books the visit does not have to play or be present on site. Simply forward the code or link to the participants — they can use it to register for the visit themselves.

Bookings during peak times must include a benefits package.

This is not a subscription. The benefits package is valid for 6 months from the date of the visit and then ends automatically.

The benefits apply in all Gamer locations and to every player who participates in the visit.

The benefits package:
a) Allows booking during peak times.
b) Increases the rewards that players receive during their visit.
c) Increases the value of the vouchers in the newsletter.
d) Prevents price markups for future bookings (you must be logged in for the next booking).

The duration of your visit depends on the number of duels. You can choose how many duels you play when booking.

A tournament with 7 duels lasts 60 to 105 minutes. You can see the estimated duration of each package in the booking calendar. How long you actually need also depends on how many breaks you take and whether you registered before the visit.

Within our opening hours we do not limit how long you stay. You can take more time, extend at the end or stay on after the tournament; you do not need a second booking for that. You only have to be finished by the end of our opening hours.

You don’t have to finish your tournament. If you need to leave earlier, you can end your visit at any time – even if you haven’t played all of your duels.

It is best to plan your arrival 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the visit.

You play a tournament of 1-on-1 duels. Every duel is a game of action, skill or knowledge, explained in seconds.

Who plays whom is set by the match plan, fresh every round: a new game and a new opponent from your group wherever possible. Everyone plays at the same time at different stations, nobody stands and watches.

Every duel you win counts in the live ranking, which you can see the whole time. Whoever has won the most duels at the end wins the tournament, as a player or as a team.

Seven duels take 60 to 105 minutes.

What is included?
When booking, you can see whether drinks and/or snacks are included in your visit. The non-alcoholic drinks flat rate is a fixed part of every package and cannot be removed.

Bringing food
Bringing food is generally not allowed. Exception: for birthdays you may bring a cake, cupcakes or muffins, as long as they do not crumble much. Small items such as a banana or a chocolate bar are fine too. We have no refrigeration, no plates, glasses or cutlery, and catering is not possible.

Alcoholic drinks
We do not sell alcoholic drinks ourselves. With our bachelor party and team event packages you may bring your own alcoholic drinks in moderation. With the Family and Friends package you can add the alcohol package, and you will see the price during booking. With every other package it is not permitted. The option always applies to all players on the visit.

For companies, teams and staff rooms
Bowling or dinner, and at the end you are sitting in the same small circles as always. Here the match plan decides who plays whom and reshuffles you every round. Round three suddenly means: you against the colleague from another department you have exchanged ten sentences with in four years. A few minutes later you share a topic. Because everyone plays in the same tournament, everyone has a few duels to tell about afterwards, and that lasts longer than the final score. The rest is simple: fixed packages with drinks included, a non-binding offer, an invoice for the company. You show up, we take care of everything else.

For friends, family and celebrations
Cinema, dinner, bowling: in the end you have just sat next to each other again. Here you play against each other, every round in a different game against someone else from your group. The friend who always wins suddenly stands in a game he has never played. Sometimes the fastest wins, sometimes the one with the best memory, so the ranking stays open until the last round. At the end there is a tournament winner, and the final score is still being argued over at dinner afterwards. 4.9 stars from over 18,000 Google reviews. In principle, there are no breaks between games. Once you have finished a game, we will automatically assign you a new game and a new opponent. You then move directly from one game room to the next.

However, you can of course take a break at any time between two games to have a drink or go to the toilet. Our system will automatically put you on pause after a few minutes. As soon as you want to continue playing, simply click on the appropriate button in our app.

Of course, there are also situations in which all your nearest opponents are still playing, in which case you will be given a short break between two games.

If this is your first time with us, we recommend that you play 6 to 9 games. You will realize that you have already experienced so much that you will be positively exhausted.

We deliberately have more games on offer so that you can come back a second time. So don’t stress: Gamer is not about experiencing everything at once.

You’re a few minutes late? That’s no problem at all. If you are more than 10 minutes late, use the link in our reminder email to report the delay.

Depending on how busy we are, we may have to shorten your visit if you are 20 minutes late.

If individual players only arrive after the start, our staff add them to the running tournament. Let us know before the start who is still coming, and we set the latecomers up in advance.

What to bring

You’ll have the best experience if everyone brings a charged smartphone. Up to 3 players can also share one. No app installation needed — we offer free WiFi on site.

What is the smartphone needed for?

You use it to sign up on our website via the browser and to control the tournament. The games themselves do not run on the smartphone. A tablet works just as well; the device only needs WiFi and an up-to-date browser. If you share a device, there are waiting times between duels. For kids’ phones, please check in advance that the browser (or our website) isn’t blocked.

As far as possible, everyone always plays at the same time — at different game stations throughout the venue. Each duel is a 1-on-1, but multiple duels run simultaneously. For example, a group of 6 players will all be active at the same time in 3 different duels.

With odd group sizes, one player has a short break between duels before jumping right into the next game.

You will get some exercise during our games. But you can’t expect competitive sport.

We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes. If you are ambitious, it is best to dress sportily.

Unfortunately, we do not have an additional room that you can rent for a presentation or meeting.

We always assign games to you automatically so that you can play as many different games as possible, but also have as little waiting time as possible.

However, you can change your next game at any time.

In addition, we give you the option at the start of blocking games: physical games (e.g. for pregnant women), games that are difficult for colorblind people, games that require fast reading (e.g. if you have reading difficulties) and games that require hearing (e.g. if you are deaf or hard of hearing).

Every player sets this up themselves during their own registration — you do not need to tell us in advance. The selection only applies to that individual player, not to the whole group.

You are not alone in the store during your visit. There will also be other groups playing at the same time.

However, we never mix visits. You will only ever play against other players from your group in your tournament and in the games.

The team with the most duel victories wins the tournament at the end.

If two teams have won the same number of duels, the team with the highest average power score wins.

At the end of your duel, we compare your result with all the players who finished the game before you. We use this to calculate your power score for the duel.

If you are better than 50% of all players ever, you will receive a power score of 50.

If you are better than 90% of all players ever, your power score will be 90.

The sum of your best Powerscores in each game is your overall Powerscore for our ranking.

If you want to play more matches outside of a tournament, you can earn or buy coins to do so.

A duel with two players costs 20 coins, i.e. 10 coins per person.

Some venues are located inside another business (Schwarzlichtfabrik in Würzburg, Mo.Life in Troisdorf, Lasermaxx in Lüdenscheid). Emails to those businesses do not reach us.

A visit with us works with any group size!

However, as we always form the duels from two players, it is naturally the case that one player will have to wait a little if the group size is odd.

However, you will notice that this is not a problem at all. You can recover a little more between two duels. We know from our surveys that a visit with 3 players, for example, is just as much fun as with 4 players.

Before the start of the tournament, you divide yourselves into teams of the same size using our app. The app shows the possible splits at the start, because they depend on the final number of players. The split cannot be fixed in advance.

In our experience, playing in “everyone against everyone” mode is the most fun.

However, teams are also possible. The only important thing is that the number of players per team is the same. So, for example, if there are 9 of you, you can compete in three teams of 3 players each.

Even in teams you keep playing 1-on-1 duels, always against players from another team, never your own. The team only counts for the scoring. Once the tournament is running, the teams can no longer be changed; latecomers are assigned before the start.

Spectators pay nothing. You are welcome to bring 2 to 3 people along to just watch. More than that gets tight, because we have no separate waiting areas or lounges. If a large group plays in several start times, the waiting half therefore has no room to watch.

Photos & videos
You may take photos and videos of yourselves during the visit. Other guests and our staff may only be filmed or photographed by prior arrangement.

Yes, and you won’t have to talk anyone into it. Being sporty alone wins nothing here: sometimes the fastest wins, sometimes the one with the best memory, sometimes the one with the steadiest hands.

Losing costs nothing, the next round starts right away, in a different discipline. Because everyone plays at the same time, nobody performs in front of an audience.

Anyone who would rather skip the physical games blocks them during registration, and nobody else notices. Anyone who prefers to watch joins for free.

From age 11 and 140 cm, with no upper limit.

You are welcome to join us from just two players and receive a fully-fledged experience

We recommend Gamer from age 11. Two things matter: a child should be at least 140 cm tall and able to read fluently and quickly. So the age itself is not a fixed limit: a 10-year-old who meets both can take part without any problem. Much younger children are usually not ready yet. Whether your child plays or would rather watch is your decision as parents, you know your child best. Anyone who does not play is welcome to join as a spectator free of charge.

There is no upper age limit - as long as the participants feel comfortable and are fit enough to actively participate, everyone is welcome!

Pregnant women are very welcome.

We even offer a special option for pregnant women to block all physical games when registering.

Overweight players are very welcome.

If you don’t want any physical games, you can block them directly when you register.

Most games are designed for standing players. The games are therefore not suitable for wheelchair users and people who cannot stand, even with the physical games blocked. Anyone who does not play watches free of charge, and that includes companions.

Almost all games can be played deaf; games that require hearing can be blocked at registration. We do not use flickering or strobe light effects.

The branch does not have a disabled toilet.

The entire branch can be accessed without stairs.

People with a severe disability pass (Schwerbehindertenausweis) pay a reduced fixed price of €10 per person. Just bring the pass on the day of your visit. Book as usual. Show the pass on site. We will then reduce the amount and refund any overpayment.

It is therefore best to send us an email to berlin@gamer.now before you book. Then we can talk about how we can adapt a visit to your individual needs.

The entire visit is possible in German, English or Dutch. French is only playable at our Luxembourg venue; French-speaking players play in English here.

For groups with different languages, instructions are given in English. However, the games and the mobile website use the language of the respective player. If two players who do not speak the same language play against each other, the duel is played in English.

Adaptation to age - If a child up to and including the age of 12 takes part in a duel, a significantly simplified “Kids” difficulty is automatically played. If a child up to and including the age of 15 takes part in a duel, a slightly simplified “Teens” difficulty is automatically played.

Supervision - Children under 14 only play with us accompanied by an adult who stays on site for the entire visit. Our staff do not supervise. The chaperone does not need to play and watches free of charge.

Toddlers - You are welcome to bring a toddler. However, you must be aware that it can be very loud in our store for long periods of time.

Dogs may be brought along in emergencies, but only if they are small, well-behaved and do not shed excessively. Dogs are generally not permitted on Saturdays. On other days, we recommend that you check with berlin@gamer.now to ensure that it is not too crowded.

Book the kids’ birthday party via the visit type Kids’ birthday party in the booking process. Only there does the birthday child play for free; you can see the number of participants required in the Discounts article and in the ticket selection.

If you accidentally booked a different visit type, simply create the booking again as a kids’ birthday party. The party does not have to take place on the birthday itself; a belated celebration is just as much a kids’ birthday party.

Kids’ birthday parties are not possible on Fridays, and on Saturdays only in the morning from 7 children; the booking calendar shows the possible start times. On Fridays and Saturday afternoons bachelor/bachelorette parties and team events are in the house, not the right atmosphere for children. Sundays are best suited for kids’ birthday parties.

At least one adult chaperone stays on site for the entire visit. Our staff do not supervise. The chaperone does not have to play and watches free of charge.

Our location is air-conditioned.

You will find plenty of lockers and a checkroom in our location. For larger pieces of luggage, ask our staff on site.

Unfortunately, we do not have changing rooms. However, you can change in the toilet if in doubt.

We do everything indoors. So we’re there for you whatever the weather.
